In Production: Finding Tina Palmer

So the story goes like this: In 4th grade, my gym teacher held a class arm wrestling competition. All the boys arm wrestled each other and all the girls arm wrestled each other. The winner of the boys then had to arm wrestle the winner of the girls. So, I, Todd Lehr, winner of the boys had to arm wrestle Tina Palmer. Guess what happened?

I lost.

Over Thanksgiving, while back in my home town of Mount Vernon, Iowa, I tracked down Tina and I challenged her to a rematch. And with the help of my wife, I’ve been documenting my journey of preparing for my upcoming fight. Am I crazy? Maybe. Mainly because Tina today looks bigger and stronger than ever. However, I’m not giving up. I’ve sought out help from a professional arm wrestler and with his teachings, I feel like I stand a chance!

    • Lights, Camera, Action!

    It’s not everyday we get to work along side youth. However, we recently had the opportunity to produce a series of public service announcements for Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV), where we worked directly with teen volunteers. This group of students is part of HSSV’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB). Members of the YAB are able to foster leadership skills, develop youth centric programs at HSSV, and actively participate in their love for animals.

    The teens helped us with all aspects of production, including script development, acting, logging timecode, and making sure everyone knew their lines. We were very impressed with their professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the whole process. These kids stepped up to the plate and did a great job.
